TRAINING AT MORDEN HALL
Morden Hall Medical Centre is the continuation of a practice founded in
1927.
We moved into the present much larger premises in 1994.
We have been a training practice since 1978 and are situated in close
proximity to St. Georges, St Heliers and the Nelson Hospital.
We are a university linked practice to St Georges Hospital Medical School and
are a main "Hub" practice where groups of medical students come for
attachments and regular tutorials.
All the doctors are committed to teaching, learning and education and are
actively involved with vocational and medical student teaching.
Registrars have their own consulting room with internet access.
Morden Hall Medical Centre has been at the forefront of many of the recent
developments in primary care. We encourage our registrars to become fully
integrated into the "team" attending all business and clinical
meetings. Our varied patient mix provide a rich learning experience. We pride
ourselves on being a friendly ,close team and provide registrars with a
protected environment within which to pass summative assessment, work towards
the MRCGP and above all gain experience to face AND ENJOY a future in primary
care.
