We are a long established university teaching (20 + years) and training practice (10 + years). We also train Foundation Year 2 Doctors.
bulletOn site, we have a full Primary Health Care Team of Integrated practice nurses, health visitors, physio, phlebotomist and health care assistant and counselling psychologist. We have very close ties to the local district nursing team who regularly attend our Primary Healthcare Team Meetings and visit the surgery every day.
bulletWe have been computerised and paperless for many years and have a fully equipped library with Broadband Internet access on every desk.
bulletThe Surgery profile has a broad spectrum of social class and ethnic origin, producing an excellent basis for general practice. Complimentary medicine is provided on the NHS by some of the partners as Acupuncture and Homeopathy.
bulletThe surgery covers four boroughs, Merton, Wandsworth, Lambeth and Croydon. The main referring hospital is St.George’s. There is a dedicated doctors’ car park, and easy parking in the locality.

THE REGISTRAR

bulletOur registrar has the benefit of their own consulting room in an organised, efficient and fully staffed practice, with high achievement of quality markers and having all partners fully committed to teaching and training and available for registrar support.
bulletThe MRCGP exam is fully supported and there is ample, regular, protected teaching time.
bulletAll registrars are encouraged and supported to do Child Health Surveillance, Minor Ops and Family Planning experience and there are excellent Vocational Training Scheme (VTS) facilities at the local teaching hospital, St George’s, Tooting or at St Helier Hospital, Carshalton.
bulletGenerous study leave is available and on call duties are standardised according to deanery requirements.
bulletWe have a 100% pass rate for registrars taking the MRCGP exam.
